Simple Nutella Hot Chocolate Recipe

When it is cold outside all you need is a hot chocolate with cream, marshmallows and sprinkles to drink while curled up watching a film. Everyone loves Nutella, so surely everyone would love a hot chocolate made of Nutella...

The hot chocolate is rich and creamy when the cream is mixed in and the marshmallows have gone soft. It is so delicious you'll love it!

You will need:

2 Mugs/Cups

1 1/3 cups milk
2 tablespoons Nutella
Squirty cream
Mini marshmallows
Chocolate sprinkles

Warm the milk in a saucepan, stirring until it starts to bubble.

When bubbling mix in the Nutella until it has all melted together, warm the hot chocolate so it goes thick and frothy.

When warm and thick pour the drink into two even mugs/cups and decorate with cream, mini marshmallows and chocolate sprinkles... and enjoy!

Biscoff Cupcakes

Autumn is here and what better way to celebrate than with some autumnal baking! Biscoff is one of our favourite biscuits so why not make them into our favourite cupcakes too. We wanted to make something yummy before the festive season begins...

You will need:

12 cupcake cases
muffin tin
Piping bag & nozzles

Cupcake ingredients:

1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup biscoff spread
1 cup caster sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup milk

Cupcake method:

Preheat the oven to 160c and line your muffin tin with 12 cake cases. In a bowl cream together the butter, biscoff spread and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs, vanilla extract, flour and baking powder and mix until combined. Once combined mix in the milk.

Divide the mixture between the cases and bake for 17 - 20 minutes (until the top is firm like a cookie and the inside soft).

Buttercream ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup biscoff
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
3 tablespoons cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Buttercream method:

Cream together the butter and biscoff and slowly add the icing sugar while mixing. Add the cream and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.

Pipe onto the cupcakes and decorate with biscoff biscuits.

Happy baking!

Adventure Time | Hiking To Dovedale Stepping Stones

Location: Peak District, England

With it being autumn time and so pretty outside what better way to enjoy the season than go for a hike?

With the Peak District full of pretty trails and paths to hike we headed to dovedale to find the pretty stepping stones which go across the river. Dovedale is located at the bottom of the Peak District near the little village Ilam. The river dove runs alongside dovedale with a little path between the hills to the stepping stones.

When visiting the stepping stones you can park at a variety of different car parks.

The car park in Ilam is one of the furthest away from the stepping stones but will allow you to see the most on your walk.

However if you are walking from Ilam be prepared to walk through fields with sheep and cows.

The walk to the stepping stones is signposted when walking through the fields.

The path to the stepping stones runs along the side of the river ...

all you need to do is follow the path to the end...

The stepping stones are easy to cross - some gaps may however be bigger than others so make sure you look where you are stepping and wear shoes that won't be slippery.

When across to the other side you can continue your walk following the path up the hill - or walk back down the other side of the river and cross the little bridge on the way back.

You can follow the same path bath to Ilam through the sheep and cow fields.

Ilam is home to Ilam park - a national trust house and gardens. The gardens include a pretty little church surrounded by sheep and a house to explore.

Watch out for the little duck signs near the road...

Ilam park is a pretty national trust house with beautiful grounds and gardens...

We hope you enjoy visiting the stepping stones and Ilam park as much as we did!

Winky Lux Flower Balm Lip Stain

The Winky Lux flower balm lip stain may be the most amazing lip product ever!

Unlike other lip products which you can see what colour you are applying, the Winky Lux flower balm is clear with a pretty little flower in the middle...

The flower balms react with the skins pH levels creating a unique pink lip colour for you!

The Winky Lux flower balm lip stains come in a rounded lipstick tube in bright pink and gold - how pretty!

The tubes also have white Winky Lux written down the side (just in case you mix them up with other lipsticks).

Being round the lip stains appear really delicate and pretty... and once you pop the lid off you are amazed by the tiny little flower growing from the bottom of the lipstick.

Quality and Shades...

My favourite thing about the lip stains has to be the scent - coconut! With the lip stains not having a colour and smelling like coconut they are really refreshing and nourishing on the lips.

Also unlike other lipsticks when constantly used the Winky Lux lip stains do not go a squashed shape - yay!

The shades are unique to your skins pH.. however you will get a soft, natural pink colour - which is really pretty.

You can purchase your own Winky Lux flower balm lip stain: here.

We would love to hear your thoughts if you try the lip stains for yourself?
