Toblerone Cookies

Toblerone has to be one of the best chocolates! The little triangles are filled with delicious chocolate and honey and almond nougat. Even if you are not a lover of toblerone you will love the taste of the melted triangle on the top of a warm chocolate chip cookie. The cookies are super easy to make and taste amazing! The recipe is created due to our love of the chocolate and cookies combined.
Ingredients
1 1/4 sticks soft unsalted butter
2/3 cup soft light brown sugar
1/2 cup superfine white sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/3 cups milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
Preheat the oven to 170c and line a baking tray with foil.

Melt the butter and allow it to cool. Place the brown and white sugar into a bowl and pour in the butter and beat together until combined.

Beat the vanilla, egg and egg yolk into the mixture until it is light and fluffy. Sift in the flour and baking soda until combined and then add the chocolate chips.

Divide the mixture into 8 equal size balls and place on the baking tray making sure you leave gaps between each cookie and bake for 15-17 minutes until golden.

We hope you love the cookies as much as we do! We would love to hear how you got on.

Love Chloe and Megan
