Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette

Urban Decay are known for their amazing palettes. Each palette is designed to create a different look whether this is a smoky eye or something more bold. Each of the palettes are also beautifully packaged. What's not to love about the rose gold packaging for their new palette?

Urban Decay already have a naked basics palette and a naked 2 basics palette which both consist of six shades each. However the ultimate basic palette has a total of twelve shades including the addition of a deep berry and a burnt orange.
Once again Urban Decay have created beautiful packaging for their new basics palette. Pretty in rose gold the palette is every girls dream. The palette is simple yet effective with its textured pattern the outside pulls you in.

The palette is a perfect square. Ideal holding size and with both a mirror and a double-ended brush you have everything you need for a perfect eye shadow application. The eye shadows each have the name of the shade underneath so you can easily identify which shade you are using for future reference.
Quality & Shades:
Like the basic palettes Urban Decay have already released the Ultimate basics palette is full of neutral, warm shades. However with the addition of a deep berry, a burnt orange and a navy shade.

The palette shadows are all matte - creating the perfect blend for any eye look. Being matte the shadows are easy to blend and apply to the eyelid. With a wide variety of colours you are able to build the shadows to create any look. The palette has a good variety of shades whatever your preference - it has something for everyone.

The quality of the shadows is also amazing. You are able to apply the shadows effortlessly. The shadows have perfect long-lasting coverage once applied and stay looking amazing for the day.
Value for money:
With 12 eye shadow shades on the new basics palette it is double the size of the two original palettes. This makes the palette great value for money. Not only is the palette double the size it also has a handy double-ended brush for application. This is something that the naked basics and naked basics 2 palette do not have.

We would love to hear your thoughts on the palette and any recommendations you have for palettes we would love.
