The Paris City Guide

Location: Paris, France
The Paris city guide is your go to for all the information you're going to need before your first visit to Paris. I visited Paris in February and the weather was perfect to explore the city in a cosy knit and see all the sights.

Plane. You can easily fly into either of the two airports in Paris from several countries all around the world.
Train. From London you can hop on the Eurostar from as little as £44 (Single) £58 (Return) and it will take you just over 2 hours.
Car. If you want to take your own car you can drive across either on a ferry or the Eurotunnel. We chose the Eurotunnel and it only took 35 minutes.

Arc De Triomphe
You can't miss this sight when you're visiting Paris. This is an absolute must see! You can view it from any of the roundabout exits but if you want to get closer you can actually walk around and under it for free.  If you're feeling like that still isn't enough you can purchase a ticket to the top for €12 and if your'e under 26 it's free!
As well as the Arc De Triomphe this is also one of the busiest roundabouts so its quiet fascinating to watch all the traffic!

Eiffel Tower
This has to be the best known sight in Paris and one that you simply have to visit while you're in the city!
For the Eiffel tower you can book your tickets online which might be a good idea as we had to wait in line for nearly 2 hours to purchase our tickets.
The tickets to the top are €25.50 for adults; €12.70 for age 12-24; €6.40 for age 4-11 and free if you're under 4.
This was such an amazing experience and one I would definitely do again if I return to Paris. The best part is that as well as the amazing view across Paris when you're at the top you also get the amazing view of the Eiffel tower from the bottom and all the times you can spot it when you're in the city.

The Eiffel tower was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Disneyland Paris
We know this is just outside of Paris but I just had to include it!
Can you ever be too old for Disneyland? We visited when we were much younger and we couldn't wait to return. We may not be able to go on all of the kids rides anymore but there was still plenty for us to do and we were very excited to find ourselves some cute Disney food!

There is also a whole post about Disneyland Paris HERE

I hope that you enjoyed this post and find it helpful when planning your visit to Paris!
